Samba Beginner Level 1

Discover the foundational steps and explore the rich vocabulary and language of Samba in this comprehensive class. You'll delve into the culture, history, and origins of this vibrant dance while learning the importance of alignment and good posture through new movement techniques.
Please note that some classes will include dedicated time to learn choreography for the end-of-year show

This session will culminate in an End of the Year Show (optional) for all our students. Costumes will be created in a DIY manner, and every student will be responsible for helping with their individual costume creation. This will be a collective experience, with everyone, including the organization team and students, collaborating and assisting each other. We may request nominal contributions for textiles or accessories if necessary, but our objective is to minimize costs to the greatest extent possible, ensuring a fun and collaborative experience for all.

Samba Beginner Level 2

This class is designed for individuals who have completed the Samba Beginner 1 course or possess a basic understanding of the basic steps. It acts as a bridge between the beginner and intermediate levels, providing a transition to more advanced techniques and faster-paced routines. Participants will delve deeper into the rhythm, learn new elements to enhance their Samba technique, and refine their overall presence as dancers. This course offers the opportunity to expand your movement vocabulary, cultivating a greater sense of comfort and fluidity in your dancing as you prepare for the intermediate level.
Please note that some classes will include dedicated time to learn choreography for the end-of-year show.

This advanced class is tailored for those who have completed the Samba Intermediate courses with JuntaSamba or have a strong proficiency in Samba. It will push you with complex techniques and combinations, concentrating on the fastest rhythm of Samba (Rasgado). Participants will delve deeply into musicality, master intricate elements to refine their Samba technique, and enhance their improvisation skills. This course offers the opportunity to significantly expand your movement vocabulary, fostering exceptional comfort and fluidity in your dancing as you reach the highest levels. Be prepared for a fast-paced, demanding learning environment that requires focus and precision.

Experience a 13-week intensive like never before, with twice-weekly training sessions totaling 4 hours per week. This program focuses on mastering technique in heels, building confidence, refining improvisation skills, and learning choreography.
